Fountain of wisdom - September Equinox

Heliocentric sidereal Astrology - the "observer view" - connecting to galactic and universal guidance...

September-Equinoxes to me can appear as a fountain of wisdom - we're all on the Earth and under the same sky, even we may it all see a little different from our space in time....

Equinoxes in general mean that it’s the two times of the year, when we see from Earth, the Sun to be in exact alignment with the celestial equator….

During the September Equinox it’s the time of the year, when the Earth/Moon system stands over the South Galactic Pole (SGP)… Currently the Earth (as well as the Sun in geocentric view) are twice a year aligning with the Galactic Pole axis….

The SGP though, lies quite a bit south of the ecliptic in the constellation Sculptor.

Whereas on the other side (the Sun’s position “on” the ecliptic in earlier sidereal Virgo during the September equinox) the North Galactic pole a bit north of the ecliptic in the constellation Coma Berenices.

The position of the equinox does change with the precession of the equinoxes – roughly 1 degree on the ecliptic in 70 – 75 years (it’s not as linear as one thinks)….

This chart, has this possible "completion" feel to it - that radiant shining and sharing, that produces gravity and with that a "protective cocoon" around a sacred or initiating kind of space.... It's like a promise here - very empowering....

The nature works pretty incredible – always “falling back” into some kind of “stability, equilibrium” or the last “basis” (lesson learned or “process part” established)… one system or creature supporting the other and we’re not different than that also “within ourselves” (if we think as ourselves as a whole “universe” / natural system of our own – as one containing many while same time being a little part of the whole)….

Yet, on the other side there’s always the going further, growing, challenge and activity and so on and that’s supporting that equilibrium, that “perpetuum mobile” in some way….

Usually the “falling back / repeating” is seen as something “negative”, something to avoid, a failure of some sort …. Yet, it can hold loads of possibility – either we do exactly as we had planned before or we suddenly see something else, that can be of “additional value” which would otherwise not been “incorporated”…. we can also look at it as an "introspection" of some sort and when long term cycles are involved we do that also collectively and sometimes over several generations....

There's no rainbow without rain - and so many or even most people are learning best from challenges, it kind of pushes us into an "active state" (Mars)... - in best case mature, integer responses.... there are though also many who learn through connection, tap into wisdom and insights and acting on them, and therefore in a collaboration.... well, and yet others do both (I guess the majority) and from my personal experience I can say, the more we're willing to "listen" the "smoother" the challenges become to be perceived and handled....

The relativity, irrational, ongoing and un-linear as well as time and timing are themes too:

- In dreams we can have experiences that span a day or more but in “earthly time / clocks” it was only seconds or minutes that have passed

- emotional aspects of time are like if we do something we "like" or not; the "feel" of time changes drastically....

- our personal age plays into too as like kids feel Christmas is a "half eternity" away, whereas we may feel the last one was just last month…

Timing is about a "schedule" or timeline etc. - in order to do anything, we need to know where we are in time and space...

Through our minds (Mercury) we're often transported to the past and our body systems do "conform" and give us a "copy" of our emotional biology from the time/memory we travel to... the body similarly responds based on past emotional responses when we "travel" to the future...

The mind is a wonderful part of us and can be worked and opened as the heart can.

If we neglect or refuse one or another part of ourselves, we often get painfully "reminded" of it - yet with the "seeing through ability" of the now / present and presence, we can go beyond that pain, seeing its purpose and in some cases, the pain leaves or is perceived differently... - just keep the "timing and time-principles" in mind - things happen as we're "ready for"... THAT applies to every "wish-fulfillment" too....

Yes, we like to dwell in those "problems and pains" - yet, when we focus onto that which we want as an outcome, the feeling of it, and so on, we create a different type of "attraction" and path...

I had a dream last night, it was about "shapeshifting" - the challenge with any change is, we have to "let go" first (giving, sacrifice etc.), just as we take off the clothes first before we change to another outfit.

So, if you "lose" something be aware it might be the process needed for something to enter your life or to complete a "cycle" of whatever....

I think because we're aware of all these aspects of self, the triggers and some principles at work, we may same time understand others better - we may understand that everyone is under the same sky and may just deal with stuff too... - so, we know, we can react with some compassion/understanding for that and won't need to be "triggered" ourselves.... and yes, we can and should still maintain our values and "boundaries" - lol, yet sometimes it's just the "tone that makes the music" as well as the "timing"....

The Earth represents our home, our roots, embodiment, anchoring and grounding etc. – the Moon is orbiting the Earth and is therefore bonded to Earth and represents the emotions (can also mean egoic expressions) as well as intuition…

It starts this year – Neptune is loosely conjunct the Earth/Moon system during the Equinox, which also means, Neptune is slowly approaching the longitude of the South Galactic Pole….

Earth, Moon and Neptune circled in red and blue in the chart below. Earth stands at 4°40’7” and Neptune at 0°57’37” sidereal Pisces. The South Galactic Pole is coming into ecliptical longitude at around 5° sidereal Pisces.

Further south of the ecliptic there are the constellations Phoenix, Eridanus, Horologium and Reticulum.

North of the ecliptic there are the constellations Pisces (the Circlet), the square of Pegasus and Lacerta and of course Draco. There are quite some aspects going on – pretty interesting how things “flow into each other” 😉

**** Neptune-Pluto cycle side note

Earth stands in a first 135° angle from Ceres at the star Zubenelakrab of Libra (red line), in first sextile from Pluto and last trine to Juno (the 2 “fat” blue lines), they’re also in a quincunx (150°) from Mars/Haumea.

Pluto got a special “stand” or “string holding position” again or still – from a Grand Trine lasting quite several weeks to now a different type of triangle (orange lines and circles) and same time Mars (as he links to the energies of this type of aspects in that triangle) forming a T in the T-square with Pluto and Juno (yellow lines and circles).

Venus conjoins Eris at the last degree of sidereal Pisces (green) and they stand in opposition by/to Mars….

If we allow "bigger orbs", then we can connect all of these lines (orange, yellow, green) then we get a kind of "special pyramid" of which Pluto sits on the apex... special choreography...

Neptune talks about veils, the nebulous that we can break through by gaining clarity – may that now be other pathways of perception, or to look “deep” in order to get answers etc. – his/ her themes are dreams, illusions and disillusions, liquids and memory….

We can also look at this Earth-Neptune-"SGP" trio as seeing through to the “origin” of something – may that now be related to our physical lives, emotional issues, manifestations, abilities, and so on or to ancestral/ lineage themes, history and related … Yet, there’s also that Neptunian theme of visions and dreams – also dreams have layers, different purposes or functions etc. – the various forms and relations may become more noticed or we may "receive visions" etc. … so, it’s a wide spectrum here as it depends on every person individually, what will surface to be looked at and in what form (we’re not all reacting to the same “channels”)….

As we have the personal planets involved in these patterns, we're very much reminded of the "coherence / harmony / teamwork" within. Whatever it is, where we need to work on or give a bit more "attention"/awareness, there we will have triggers activated ....

I think, it may indicate that we're working on a new "basis", an inner space that is "one" in its diversity and also needs to be cared and nourished for - an "upleveling" from wherever we are and that this willingness is also help to producing this "protective net".....

That can very well include "heart matters" (Venus - Eris) including values... – especially also the correlations between “desires, wishes” and actions – actions made based on the own “heart” and values or on others and maybe even against the own ones…. Sometimes that’s hard to discern and even harder to stick to the own values….

The mythology of Eris is not as "rich" in quantity - yet, the most famous one includes Aphrodite (Venus) - Eris sent one of her golden apples to a wedding she wasn't invited to with the note "for the most beautiful women/goddess" - instead of presenting it to the bride (as nowadays probably everybody would do), Aphrodite started or entered a competition and that did end in the war of Troy....

Juno, who stands right opposite of Pluto, was also present in that little story above as the wife of Zeus (Jupiter) and entered the competition as well ....

When we're imbalanced within our "self-worth" for example, we may end up with some kind of "inferior - superior complex" and that can have all kinds of consequences that we may later regret.... if we want to have "balanced" relationships, we need to work on the one with self first...

**** a side note: Neptune is also approaching his second full first sextile from Pluto – I find it important because we’re approaching that for the second time in their cycle… In the 1960’s they were already a little passed the 60° angle but then an “interchange of speed” happened (in 1968), meaning for some time Pluto was “faster” (more velocity) than Neptune. They were in this “reversed role” until 2005 (at ca. 53° of cycle) and since then we’re now very slowly re-live these few degrees with their tasks… they will finally reach those 60° again in 2029…. Furthermore, there's also the Eris - Sedna cycle, which is in a "interchanged", going back in their cycle time - actually for a 100 years already and will continue until Eris will become again faster than Sedna and they can go on to complete their cycle but this will all take still quite a while - so we're in "repetition mode" here too ....

Many of the aspects relevant in this chart, are linking to number 8 and its parts….

The square – 90° angle, 4 pointed star or square – a second one overlaid would make an 8 pointed star and therefore the angle between each pointer 45°… 45 – 90 – 135 – 180 (opposition)….

An 8 pointed star or octagon also holds the energy of the “silver ratio” and it’s also (not in a nice, equal or exact way but still there) the pattern / geometry Mars and Earth form in the sky with their conjunctions.

An octagon or octahedron is also recognized in the platonic solids – “primordial elements”….

According to Adam Apollo, the geometry of the 8 does link to time or timing, which I find “between the lines” in the writings of some of these related aspect by Dane Rudhyar.

I find this especially interesting after all the “triangle” energy we’re currently still in (stability, ideas, ideals, harmony, inertia, self-fulfilling, creative impulse that can also link to improvement or change and more) ... September new beginnings post ....

"Triangle energy also links to the Mercury - Earth geometry - as I'm typing this, some of the Grand Trines are dissolving reform with partly other planets involved (just short after the equinox)....

I know, it all seems very “complicated” and it IS, when trying to look at it all in detail – so I will try to give you some relevant “overview”, including the “hidden” or “invisible”….

The Quincunxes (150° also called inconjunct) formed between the Three (Earth/Moon and Neptune) and Mars and Haumea is especially interesting when considering the above mentioned connection of the Mars-Earth cycle to the 8 and all these related aspects in the chart…

Mars though is also opposing Eris and as Eris is conjoined by Venus, therefore, Venus is opposing Mars…. Venus and Eris are also in square with Pluto – as I said earlier, Pluto is holding many strings here….

Pluto is about transformation but is also very powerful and that can also show in "over powering" and similar - all planets have their "shadow sides" - so, important to remember that....

It becomes even more interesting, when we include the “view”, that Earth is always “opposite” of the Sun – so when we see Earth in early Pisces, we would see from Earth the Sun to appear to be in early Virgo and therefore what is “aspected” to Earth is also aspected to the Sun in geocentric view… Which means, that the Sun would make the connection and "4th point" with Pluto, Earth and Juno to form a “mystic rectangle”/envelope configuration…. Which does “relate” to themes of “initiation”, a sacred space for learning and integration, but also like a “basis” that can suddenly appear without even “consciously” working on it….

And that’s what appears here – a lot of “hidden”, missing, not drawn into the chart and a different “view” than the above in the “chart section” mentioned …. When I was staring at the chart’s geometry, I suddenly was remembered of a “quantum physics geometry spirituality presentation” I watched several times (by Adam Apollo)…. Again the 8 but we also have the 7 appearing and that links to movement – let go of one and add one – constantly and that relates to forming “radiation and gravity”….

To have the 8 pointed star “perfect” (not to exact degree, but “close”) we would need something at the ecliptical longitude of around 19° sidereal Scorpio, wow, and then it “hit me” – that’s roughly the longitude of the “Great Attractor”, giggles – well, that’s a place of extreme “gravitational pull” towards loads of galaxies are pulled to including our local group of galaxies (there seems to be an “opposite” of this too, a maybe “pushing” area, a “void” or better said a huge super-void….)

With this "completion", Pluto suddenly loses the "string holder position" and becomes just an integral part - nothing to fear any more.... transformed and rising anew just as Earth and Neptune also stand over the constellation Phoenix (one wing and tail). Well, and Eris now no longer in the belly of Cetus the sea monster but riding on its back....

My own researches, inspirations, intuition, experiences and dreams…

Universal time 1am – Thailand 8am – US on 22nd of September

The Earth at 4°41’0” sidereal Pisces (only a good 3° away to meet Jupiter) and Mercury only 1° away from Earth – The Sun at 4°41’0” sid. Virgo.

Mercury is about to start a new cycle with Earth in the heliocentric view and in the geocentric view a new cycle with the Sun… interesting isn’t it 😉 …

Mercury is about communication, exchange, electricity, knowledge and wisdom to name some key words…

Mercury does therefore himself make an axis from this perspective – “this side or that side”? – well, I guess it adds to that “Jupiter’s choice” theme.

It seems, there are at least 3 possibilities – one pole or the other, or integration/ middle way – being able to see a whole in seemingly opposite / separate ways of thinking or mind sets and to recognize it as the “same” in the sense of same origin, yet different in expression / form…

The equinox axis does mark the time of the year, when we see from Earth the Sun being in exact “alignment” with our equator in the sense of angle – there’s 0° degree declination, meaning same “latitude”.

The Equator marks the “path of action” – it’s the part of the Earth (or any spherical shape that spins around an axis) with the highest velocity (distance in time).

Polar axis though do mark the intention and purpose axis – what we “spin around”. At the poles therefore we find the least velocity.

The Earth orbits the Sun and the Sun orbits either directly or indirectly the Galactic Center and the GC will probably also orbit around something or toward something and so on (several models and theories existing about that “something” and further).

With all these axis / crosses involved, we can see that we have fundamental themes at hand here and questions of “alignments” / choices and various “view points”.

We have the Pisces – Virgo axis involved when we look from either Earth or the Sun and from either perspective, we see Mercury in Pisces or Virgo.

In the Pisces – Virgo axis we talk about water as representation of fundamental basis of life and same time as being a conductor for energy / electricity. Each of our body-cells of whatever kind does contain water – all cells are in interaction with each other in the sense of being parts of one “whole” and react to the environment (within and without).

If we now think of water as we know it or if we think of it as ether or “space-time fabric” or whatever, it’s naturally in movement or flow. Even the deepest and seemingly still lake does have somewhere an inflow and an outflow, a stream underneath the service.

Imagine a bird who does pick on whatever seeds or fruits and a seed falls on the ground, on soil, then it rains and the seed sinks deeper into the ground and somehow starts to grow roots down in that deep, dark space finding nourishment that’s hidden from the view on ground. Then one day it might be strong enough in its roots and will start to grow upwards towards the sunlight and another kind of nourishment not visible to us neither…

There’s a constant exchange on an axis – both sides contain information and nourishment – we get information through our feet from the Earth, the food we eat that comes directly or indirectly from Earth as well, the air we breathe, from the Sun on our skin and through glands and “cosmic energies” through similar channels and the crown.

The “cleaner” or “purer” our water is, our foundations or our intentions and beliefs, the clearer the communication will become.

Yet, it’s a “constant back and forth” – exchange – as we too give information out all the time.

Just like the lake, we need to have some inflow and outflow – if we block either, the natural flow is disturbed … just like breathing within which we naturally take in/out as of equal importance … Water or any “flowing” substance or energy needs to do exactly that, it’s the nature of it, therefore resistance will only create a blockage or exhaustion. – oh my, lol, that reminds me of a little story:

I had rented a little house here in Chiang Mai, wonderful – well, the rainy season came and with it the ground water came through the floor – I and some people who came to aid did try to get that water out with buckets and stuff for hours but it was a total waste of time and energy – I had to let it flow … good thing about ground water is, that it’s clean 😉 …

Some years later, there were bad floods announced (the river very high already) and would probably hit the night bazar area – I did walk through the area when it was still dry but the river close to overflow - the shop owners had sandbags stacked up and at one shop I saw that two elder men had put a plastic table and two chairs on top of the sandbags and played a party of chess…

It’s through this “flow”, the recognition of it or the “mirroring”, exchange etc. that we can gain “stability”, trust and recognition as we perceive, receive and respond – especially with Mercury involved on this axis, we may have some “mythical experiences” and may try to put that somehow into “perspective” and understanding.

As Jupiter and Saturn are just talking about choices, we may bring ourselves a step further and use whatever “remembrance”, or general surfacing, or wisdom perceived as guidance for that next step… Wisdom is there and here as well as the life force – it’s only a question of how we use these powers or what kind of relationship we build with them and of course on what basis we build and live.

It's traditionally said that this axis talks about “service” – well – it can develop dependency/ addiction but also guiding in the sense of “help someone to help themselves” or we also include ourselves to become who we are as that’s how we serve the best…

Uranus’ transit over the head of Cetus is almost done – liberating us from what is binding or makes us dependent, if we then choose to perceive it as that and later choosing to go a different way.

Perceiving is one thing but acting on it another – it might need some time to “digest” first, to bring this all back to the root/womb and “breed it out” before we can come with a plan and action…

While I was writing this post, I was accompanied by some mind pictures - I called them a "wisdom fountain" and I think, that might be what the whole Pisces - Virgo axis may represent as a whole.
