The Saturn and Eris cycle discussed in "live updated mode" ... the original conjunction was in 1997 and is briefly discussed further below - we're no entering the "balsamic" phase of this cycle on the way to their next conjunction in November 2027 and so on...

Saturn is about authority, structures, order and law but not only material structures (like our skeleton/body or buildings) but also about societal structures, political structures and structures of our inner life and maybe also the concept of time… other key words are commitment, responsibility and to mature… He reminds us, that we build our structures ourselves and need to take on the responsibility in order to live our sovereignty….

Eris is a feminine warrior archetype and brings “disruptive” energies, that shall shed light onto the “reality” of a situation and therefore to see the own truth. It’s not easy to see and accept the own shadow sides, false beliefs, false teachings – she’s very revealing in this sense because under all these layers of “shadows from the past”, we may find surprising beauty and gifts.

Working with Eris requires honesty with self - on all levels and polarities.... As all the planetary bodies beyond Neptune, also Eris talks about natural universal laws.

Saturn has become famous about being "limiting" or "limits", boundaries, borders in general and Eris to be about strife and discord (often described as evil - whatever that may be associated with in whatever epoch)...

I mention this, because they have "bad reputations" - it's for sure, that they at times feel pretty challenging and uncomfortable, yet, always with reason/cause.... they have both a lot to offer....

I think a big theme was "recognition" of the "inheritance" - the "what IS" also how systems work on the "essence" level but also what we have created / manifested.

May that now be globally in political systems, economy, big business, ecological and so on, also what we have inherited in terms of "karma and dharma", genetics etc. and how all these work - you see, if we know the "system" at work, then we can "use it consciously"....

Yet - it all means that we have to become our own "authority", take responsibility and know "where" we are at, with all the resulting "consequences"....

Yet - with Eris we're talking "higher consciousness", we're talking "reality" in its presence and deeper meaning and that means this cycle isn't about what we see "at face value" - way passed Neptune - we're talking real "transcendence", no lies, no veils, no hesitation etc....

The "balsamic phase" is a "mystical" one... it's a seeding time, with access to all the information from "before" and gives glimpses into the future as in "wishes" and "visions of that future" (possibilities and probabilities) as well as "visualizations"....

The challenge here is to let go of the "old" and concentrate and commit to that "vision" even so we don't know yet of how it will really be, we live its principles already - bringing it to the now....

I find "sacred geometry" is really very "eye opening" (giggles, an Eris theme)....

Saturn at 14°26’49” sid. Aquarius – Eris at 29°26’49” sid. Pisces

Saturn is conjoined by Mercury (as viewed from Earth they are conjoined by the Sun) and they are opposed by the Earth/Moon system in middle of Leo. Juno just a couple degrees further into Leo is about to conjoin Orcus…

Eris is by the same players in a 135° angle.

The same opposition as the red triangle with Saturn and Mercury – Earth/Moon system…

The 3rd point here is formed by Venus, Pholus and Quaoar in the middle of sidereal Sagittarius…

Pholus and Quaoar do bring mastery and harmonizing aspects - perceptual abilities as well as the harmony of the universal and natural laws at play all together as one...

Cause and effect is only one of those laws - yet, what a different interaction we can reach, when following a cause instead of an effect... if we want to change anything, we need another cause and not another effect...

Another truth in here is the fact, that what we commonly "see" is only a very tiny bit of what there actually IS...

Last month with Mars and now for this preparation for the next cycle / conjunction of Saturn and Eris together with Venus - beauty, love and values...

Can we actually perceive what we personally value, love and find beautiful and commit to that, communicate it, even if it goes against the narrative of the moment but in this sense remain true to ourselves...

Can we anchor ourselves within that and allow us to integrate the reflections of ourselves within all around us - can we perceive the beauty in this despite the uncomfortable consequences it may hold...

Mercury is a messenger – if we now talk, write or otherwise communicate with others or ourselves, there’s a flow of information… sometimes we feel distracted by thoughts and emotions – I think we’re reminded to notice those messages, yet, we also have the authority to say “not now” and come back to ourselves later… or, we may have an idea/thought of an outcome of whatever and even if it’s one as unlikely to happen, we may put us into that “vibration” – if those thoughts are now about something we actually would like to happen or not, is in totally our very own responsibility and therefore we can lead it into the preferred direction… YET, we still have to know where it came from first place – this can be a thought of a second and done…

This also helps us to create a “safe space” for our creative ideas…

Another possibility is to consciously play with the maybe “negative” fantasy and from time to time throw a laugh or giggle into it and ask – “wow, where did this idea come from, pretty wild” or something alike… not in a denying way but in an acknowledging way, not only of the underlying feeling but also about the actual creativity that is there…

Practicing this, leads to the disappearance of the destructiveness of “fears or worries” – yet, also theirs is an importance to create this inner relationship, the collaboration or teamwork within oneself – the feminine and masculine parts, the right and left side of the brain and so on…

Are there really limits??? On the physical realm, there are – yet, on other planes there aren’t and once we’re able to “imagine” that we can combine the realms and let them take their natural space and order, we’ll be living in a changed world…

As you can see in the chart – Jupiter is already very close to Uranus (I will write about this separately) and that brings these two events even “closer together” too…

Besides, there’s also a first 45° angle formed in this chart and it’s the one formed by Vesta and Sedna… we have so much feminine, creative power here in this whole chart… why not using it and start envisioning, fantasizing under inclusion of what we have seen over the last years, what has surfaced for everyone to see…

Are we still under the fears and shadows or can we actually move on and see the first flickers of the light at the end of the tunnel…

CREATIVITY – Earth is offering us the playground – she awaits our ideas and visions to become the leading force… so, know what you wish for and why….

The number 18 relates to the numbers 3, 6 and 9... according to Adam Apollo and others, this may relate to the 3rd eye, to an awakening of a "different reality", one that does actually open the possibilities instead of limitations...

The sum of 18 gives a 9 and represents a number of understanding and completion and as it's same time the half of 18, I think we have here the theme of bringing polarities together or to be able to see through the mask of seemingly unrelated and unsolvable opposites....

As you can see in above chart, the 1997, 2027, 2057 (blue) conjunctions happen very, very close to their "counterparts" so many centuries ago...

It's like as we would have, every 30 years, the opportunity to kind of "resolve" 559 years of history or "basis" for the future...

In latitude Saturn and Eris can only come close, when Eris is just before her Northnode and Saturn near his most Southern point and on the opposite side... This will be the case with the 2057 conjunction in earlier sidereal Aries....

Saturn at 7°53’27" sidereal Aquarius south of the ecliptic in line with the star Ancha of Aquarius (a little north of the ecliptic).

Eris at 29°19’27" sidereal Pisces south of the ecliptic in the constellation Cetus.

Eris is a feminine warrior archetype and brings “disruptive” energies, that shall shed light onto the “reality” of a situation... More about Eris:    

Saturn and Eris are circled in red....

Hygiea (hygiene, purity, holistic medicine but more in the sense of "keeping healthy"), Earth / Moon system (grounding, anchoring, physical playground, incarnation), Venus (the value system, love and self-love, beauty and arts, property etc.) and Chariklo (charity, discernment of potential, shelter or sanctuary) all together around the sidereal middle of Capricorn.... (connects to the longitude of Eris' most southern part of orbit)

Eris is in a 150° angle formed by Pallas at the Leo-Virgo cusp and Saturn is in a last sextile formed by Ceres, who has just separated from her conjunction with Haumea and stands at the star Syrma of Virgo in sidereal Libra.

The Septile aspect...

A septile aspect is "irrational" - it's not a full number - 360 degrees divided by 7 gives a result of 51,4285714... degrees which translates to 51 degrees and "rounded" 26 minutes...

It's an ongoing energy, it can't "stand still" as it has to flow.

As an irrational number, there's also always a kind of a "left over", something that can't be integrated into a direct creative action and may remain as "seed" for the next to come...

It's irrational and infinite in this quality and refers to "continuum" - the spiraling - as a whatever rational angles you calculate, you never get the circumference exact...

It's this "spin" that makes everything going not only in circles but in spirals and it's what can make us realize that nothing can really end nor "finish"....

Now imagine Saturn's northpole (pictures on the Saturn-page) - it's a hexagonal geometry and the southpole is like an eye, a storm or "chaos"...

Reality (Eris) is, we can't structure or order / rationalize it all but hey, we can "let go" of that "need" and it's "search"/strength, so it can become....

If we have a question and are unable to find the answer - we can let go and trust, when we're ready it will come up... time? - we're dealing with "irrationals" - it can be instantly and it can be whenever... and that includes that the "seed" we plant may not be "visible" in our own lifetimes... that we may seed for a future beyond....

We may be able to at least accept the fact, that things and even time, are constructs not as "linear" as it may look like at first... Saturn and Eris may refer to "zero point" energy, black holes, singularity, eye in the storm etc., where all is present at once...

Placements...

Saturn in Aquarius south of the ecliptic (in descending mode) - under the star Ancha of Aquarius - its a star shining yellow with an absolute luminosity of ca. 75 times the Sun. Ancha comes from medieval Latin and translates to "the haunch" and in Chinese it's called the second star of "weeping"... its location marks roughly the right rips of the waterbearer or maybe the liver and in yet other depictions it might point to the navel...

Saturn stands a bit south of the ecliptic around the right thigh...

Further south the constellation Pisces Austrinus with its alpha-star Fomalhaut and north of the ecliptic the nose of Pegasus marked by the star Enif and the breast of Cygnus the swan....

On this longitude of the heavens we talk about the fulfillment of needs, achievements, some kind of unity, humanitarian aspects and how to bring all into "projects" for the greater good of All (not to forget the own "greater good" - when we're in good shape we serve best) - it's "visionary" energy - there's a lot of "advanced" energy, elders that may teach or philosophize etc. - openness not only to the ideas of others but also the own intuition, communication etc.

On a more "spiritual" level it may indicate a "bringing together" of missing parts - communication with higher realms, entities or "the other side" or simply to follow the own "leads" we perceive....

Eris stands in the last degree of sidereal Pisces, still in the constellation Cetus a bit south of the ecliptic. Further south the small constellation Fornax and even further south part of the constellation Eridanus with the star Acamar in near longitude... North of the ecliptic we see the upwards swimming fish and the outstretched arms of Andromeda (in north/south direction).

Here we talk about the “mind set’-emotion-connection that we need to acknowledge to be able to gain strength from the obstacles we successfully overcome. We need to accept our past lessons of life without judgment nor blame (unconditionally) – to respect what we have learned, even if it goes against the current “main stream”-collective-consciousness but to same time know, that whatever we do, helps to enrich the collective consciousness.

It's an area that is "driven", full of energy and abundance - yet, if we're fear based or in "lack or victim consciousness" we may attract more of that....

Reality is, we're in some ways "many in one" - we have many "aspects" to ourselves and in this sense we're a "community".... one that can come together and work for a common goal, become stable within and through this feeling safe and open to whatever there is in the outside (doesn't mean we need to like it all).

Recognizing the own self, with whatever there is, letting go of those "loops" of trying to "fix" something that is already "perfect" in its working but instead "visualizing" or otherwise communicating the "future" as in a "wish-list" - for example helping a broken bone heal by visualizing it when it's whole, how you dance, run, walk or whatever (giggles, if it doesn't work it for sure doesn't hurt either - why not try)....

Imagine sitting with Friends and instead of listing everything that's wrong and who did this or that etc., sitting together philosophizing, thinking of what could be, sharing the fantasy or dream we have of how it could be....

There's an important fact or "reality" - we're creative beings!!! - it's inherent and there to be used.... and don't be surprised what stuff comes up, when you let yourself "loose"..... laugh with your own creativity....

"Perfectly orchestrated" it is.... this last septile is connected to the approach of Jupiter to his exact first sextile with his cycle with Saturn. It's already active in orb now....

Just short:

While the Saturn - Eris cycle is in a part of cycle that connects to "left overs" to be used for "seeding" and connecting us to the infinite; the Jupiter - Saturn cycle is in a "pushing through" phase of "new quality" - therefore "using" up what the other cycle is seeding...

That of course does happens on all levels - there might be "stuff" we have carried with us for a while (may that now be literal stuff or otherwise), that suddenly "becomes" sense and some kind of "use" again (directly or for someone else, lol or both) .... it might also refer to ancestral themes or the connection to "galactic and universal" themes, to "essences"...

Because we have here "higher learning, connections, beliefs, structures, maturity" and so on connected in various ways, it can affect kind of everything and anything.... and don't forget Eris - if looking at her as a "primordial" energy as like the night, there are limitless possibilities, which pushes us towards the "Sedna" energy, who's an example that we can transform all the "bad" stuff into something new, a "new kingdom" or "castle"....

Whatever it is for one personally - a reminder about the fact, that energy is indestructible but transformable.... so be creative....

Back to "chapter selection"

Their cycle started late 30th November / 1st December 1997 at 23°43’44” sidereal Pisces near the stars Altawk of Cetus (Eris) and Kaht of Pisces (Saturn).

Their next conjunction will be on 22nd of November 2027 in very early sid. Aries at the upwards swimming fish of Pisces.

Before we can swim into this new cycle and new “heights” (spiral not cycle), we need to end the old one – take conclusions, release strength of wanting to cling to the old, trying to follow the pull from the future so we’ll be able to actually seed the next…

For Saturn a 60° angle is especially important as he shows at his northpole a hexagonal structure, which means a 6 pointed form or star-outline, each pointer 60° degrees apart and it’s this outlining from “star point to star point” which can be seen as a “container”… the “container” gives us the possibility to see the “oneness” in this sense instead of a specific point – integration that needs to be allowed to take place. If we draw the star, we get the shape of a so called “star of David”, or two intertwined triangles or Grand-Trines…

The current cycle we’re able to start “integrating” now, is about revelations and realities that show and need to be structured, ordered to become purposeful or meaningful and with that a beneficial, rich experience. We usually tend to perceive “revelations” as something “bad” as about something that’s not nice but it can also actually be the pot of gold under the rainbow. It’s often our judgmental perception that makes the polarity, that makes us blind to the riches that life has to offer even when it’s hard and difficult – yet, it’s often exactly that challenge, that “reality” or even shadow that unfolds or reveals our potential of the creative forces we have – revelations...

Eris is a far outer planet – orbits in regions not even Pluto got physical access to – therefore she brings revelations about themes we would maybe not even dare to dream of… realities that may change everything and being “eye opening” (maybe an activation of the pineal?!)…

Such “storms” of “new”, of unknown, uncertain, needs to be “sorted”, ordered and “grown/ matured into - Saturn's gift...

When we’re thrown into a pool of water in order to learn to swim, we need to regain the calmness after the first shock (eye of the storm – Saturn’s southpole) and we’ll figure out what can keep us “over” water and eventually how to swim… Once we have learned to swim, we know and even if we haven’t used the ability for a long time, once we start doing it again, the “stored memory” sets in and same is with riding a bicycle and so on – this principle is applicable to anything and all “realms”…

When we put this all into perspective with the new “paradigm” we’re in, we’re in a total new phase of the “world” – therefore, even if we’re concluding this Saturn – Eris cycle, it’s with the “backdrop” of the new…

We’re retrieving what was and add “new” perspective and purpose to it – building a picture out of various pieces – we see what is “serving” in which way and choose what we want to nourish. That’s why an ‘openness” or “freshness” is asked in order to be able to “allow” – whatever that may mean for one personally…

It also means that we retrieve abilities and “play” with them – to not only “re-learn” but also to bring them into “new perspective” or “new use”… maybe adding a new “swim style”, or cooking style or whatever 😉 and of course, within the themes of Eris, its about birthing a new “consciousness or awareness”.

In whatever way that will play out in the next years – I’m already curious ….

P.S.: it’s interesting to note – a little over 30° “ahead” of Eris in early sid. Taurus Mars is very closely approaching Sedna for conjunction and 60° “ahead” of Eris there’s Pallas just “under Orion at the Taurus/Gemini cusp. Earth is approaching Uranus over the head of Cetus…

All of these bodies, except Sedna, are in a new cycle with Eris…

Sedna is the furthest out “minor” planet discovered so far – a re-emerging into our awareness, anything that has been “suppressed” or we may have forgotten, yet she works in very outer regions and brings energies from realms where the veils hardly exists… and Saturn actually stands “on” her southnode – Mars involved as well – so, here we have the “possibility of storm” or a bit of chaos – well, “fresh”/new energies may just have this effect, just like a “newborn” may bring some “chaos” into a household and “adjusting ordering” is needed…

If we’re in any way needing guidance or answers – we’re never alone and therefore can ask at any time.

PPS: Saturn does also "govern" our skeleton and maybe even DNA - however - as he got the Ceres in opposition, this all may include some "structural changes" within your body that may for a short period of time cause some aches and pains (same for Earth maybe) and it means we need to give the body "special care" - again, different to each of us.... also, DNA and messengers etc. are made of proteins, so you may help there by giving the body the "raw material" needed for the work (in whatever form you personally intake that)

Their heliocentric conjunction took place on 30th of November / 1st of December 1997, depending the time zone.

Saturn stood near the star Kaht of Pisces and Eris near Altawk of Cetus – both separating from these stars….

They were in a Kite / Pyramid aspect configuration in trine with the apex-holder Nessus (neglect, abuse) in the constellation Scorpio, and another trine with Orcus (oath, life path) in sidereal Cancer. It’s Hygiea (hygiene, health, purity) who forms the two Sextiles to Orcus and our Saturn – Eris conjunction.

It’s challenging and uncomfortable to face the own shadows, fears etc. and realizing that they make us in this sense “corruptible”… we here with them get a lot revealed, shown about ourselves, that which is hidden and needs to become consciously worked with – from the shadows to the abilities and purpose it includes the full spectrum – all of it for our benefit!!!!

We're here not only working on a personal level but also on a global one - there's a lot that is hidden, not only the "bad" but also "good" like for example Archaeology has unearthed a lot in recent decades...

So, I think of this as being about "inheritance" as well - on whatever level...

Yet, there's the importance of maturing our reactions too - we need to take responsibility in order to also have the power... if we, in this sense, blame ancestors or organizations etc. in a way that makes us "victims" then we have not taken on the task....

Sometimes we're so focused on the "bad", the shadow, the pain, trauma etc., that we totally neglect that which we actually have on the other "polarity"... whatever we face, we need to keep the "balance", keep healthy in this sense to not fall into a kind of "abyss"....

It's very foundational energy - on one side deconstructing on the other constructing both the same in the sense of 2 sides of the same coin...

Their next conjunction will be on 22nd of November 2027 in sidereal Aries, constellation Pisces.
