Vesta and Juno cycle - 2025 to 2047

Updated: Sep 20, 2025

Yes, you read that right – Vesta and Juno do have an astonishingly long cycle together. It happens because their orbital periods are similar and because their orbits allow “intersecting”/crossing and therefore they create “shared space” which means, they can’t meet as they would otherwise collide.

The Players:

Juno is about one to one relationships (including the one with self), what we value and look for in our relationships, which includes the “teacher – student” relationship and that one can be both the same time. Juno is also about equality and acceptance and inner “balance”/ harmony. She’s a “transmitter”/bridge between our outwards actions and our beliefs, higher ideals etc.

Imbalanced Juno can bring jalousie and according to mythology a constant “war” at courts.

Interesting to note is also, that her orbit leads her to the star Meissa of Orion, marking its head – so, there’s this direct relationship to the brain and the mind.

Vesta is our inner, sacred flame – so it’s our devotion but she’s also about “endurance” – how much are we going to “endure” (also in the sense of “time” and “other tasks” to support etc.) in order to keep our flame burning, to find our “purpose”, inner knowing (also knowledge in general) and actually act on it. She’s also Saturn’s daughter and as such they share the theme “commitment” ….

The first “Vestal cults” (Roman name – Hestia Greek) came to western Europe after the Trojan war by refugees who were, according to mythology, guided by Venus…

In Greek and Roman mythology, they’re actually Sisters – with Saturn/Kronos and Ops/Rea as their parents. Vesta was first born, but released last from the “belly of Saturn” who has swallowed his children except his youngest son Jupiter/Zeus.

We could interpret these lines in the way, that the “masculine / outwards” energy did take over and that it’s difficult to reestablish “feminine” energy, especially to “reignite” spiritual energy or simply to follow a “calling” or a “passion” (it’s not meant in a romantic way) …

Yet, said this – because we’re used to live more in the “outside world”, we may have the tendency to think first about our relationships in our “waking time” and less about the one in our private, inner world. Sometimes I think of relationships also in the sense of “ratios” – as for example how much time we give to “what or whom”, how do “topics, themes and stuff relate” etc. – giggles – astrological aspects are describing relationships.
