Heliocentric, sidereal Astrology
New Moon 28th/29th of July 2022
Thailand time 29th of July at 0:56am - Universal time 28th at 17:56pm
This new Moon happens with Earth in Capricorn conjoining the centaur Chariklo and with the Sun (and the geocentric Moon) in Cancer conjoining the dwarf planet Varuna. It’s the axis of 10°20’1” Cancer – Capricorn…
Heliocentric means that we look from the perspective of the Sun and imagining to be the Sun and look around us to see what’s happening kind of like an Observer…
We just have passed some conjunctions and choreographies as explained in the last Full Moon post and my latest video – I will of course give some “reminders” further in this post:

This new Moon happens several hours before my solar return – so I find it of course “special” from this egocentric view, lol, yet it is special all together in many ways….
The Cancer-Capricorn axis on these degrees is about “breeding” something out – it can be a metamorphosis, a transformation, alchemical or in more earthly terms discerning, evaluating, planning, scheduling… it’s a cardinal axis and therefore there is movement involved, yet with focus and “receptivity” also to details…. We also can mobilize the will to bring things into "practicality" - not only the dream and the vision but making something out of it... that sometimes mean with "in between steps", just as usually a baby crawls first, even the "vision" is walking...
Both places on this axis aren’t bringing brilliant star-lights to the “naked eye”, yet there are famous and wonderful “things” to be seen but it’s a little “hidden” – and that’s one of the qualities, as the night is in this case also “dark” in respect to the Moon, we get the opportunity to go within and act from there… from home, a retreat or anywhere we may feel safe enough to plan, practice or simply contemplate and discern…
This Sun-Earth and Moon axis as well as the above-mentioned conjunctions do also talk about to be aware of the “laws and orders” of life in general… where we give focus on, what we allow to be “present” with us (may that now be in physical ways or in form of emotions or thoughts).
During the time of the Gemini-Sagittarius axis it was more about the “blueprint”, the idea and ideals and "visons" communicated/perceived through whatever "channels" that slowly become a form that can be communicated, spoken… now we give it value by bringing it into the next step with focus discernment, nourishment and commitment and control.
I also mentioned the laws – and I mean here the Universal and natural laws... usually though, processes start from within, even if we get hints through the physical world around us as well.
As I said before, emotions aren’t the same as feelings – emotions are kind of “transmitters”, tools that activate certain functions (for example proteins that can even activate or de-activate gens), activating of survival instincts and of course much more. The feelings is what lays underneath the emotion… the “foundation”… if we’re “fear based” we will see everything through such a lens, if we’re “trust/love based” that will be the foundation through which we perceive, conclude, build belief-systems and so on...
An interesting side note:
In Theravada Buddhism the last full Moon did mark the start of Buddhist lent (Vassa) – it’s a 3 lunar months’ time (full Moon to full Moon – meaning earth and moon “conjunct”) when the monks stay at the temple (can travel for 7 days when important – not common though). It’s a time with intense meditation, practices, teaching and learning…
On the first day, there’s often a sermon recited, which does have the core meaning of “setting the wheel of dhamma (or dharma) into motion”…

In the regions here, it’s for practical reasons (only??) during the rainy season – if people held such practices in winter time on the northern hemisphere, they’ll also catch the Cancer-Capricorn axis … (it anyways goes on for 3 months, so several axis are included… and there’s the thing of precession 😉
Maybe it’s more about the fact that it traditionally starts with the full Moon of the 8th lunar month of the year – 8 maybe with the energies of the 8th house – the depths of Self within the Universe… it matches actually our new Moon now, which is on the 2nd – 8th house axis… (in heliocentric view this goes with roughly the precession – the “global” angles and not individual, therefore “broader”)…
The Choreographies:
Maybe some of you remember my talk during these last weeks and posts about the Grand Trines, Pyramid/Kite configurations – well – they “dissolved”, reformed or shifted, some “Players” stay the same, some not but now we deal with different energies due to those shifts… we have now 2 Grand-Trine intersecting, not exact but you can see the form of a Star of David – a 6 pointed star….
A water trine – connecting Ceres in Cancer, Hygiea in Scorpio (opposing Sedna in Taurus) and Jupiter and Mars in Pisces. Even so Neptune is also there, he’s much slower and therefore just out of that trine – yet Neptune and also Jupiter are opposed by Mercury right at the cusp between sid. Leo and Virgo…
Then we have an earth-trine: Earth and Chariklo in Capricorn, Venus in Taurus, Makemake in Virgo (governing of resources). And of course, the Sun and new Moon opposing Earth in Cancer…
Grand-trines bring harmony, high stability and creative power in the sense of having the “vision”, the dream but now it’s doubled with earth and Earth 😉 so that means also grounding, foundational or anchoring energies that want to become “manifested”/ordered.
It's like before the Trines were in fire and air signs (masculine) and now in the feminine – yet, kind of still same or similar and in my opinion in this case and the overall view, I think it’s about integrating these energies in the “highest, coherent” form possible to us individually…. and don't forget - Earth is in Capricorn - so it's order and it's "practical" and organized - like a "library" - and that goes from your own life experiences, to any ever written topic but also includes the Akashic records and anywhere in between and beyond...
A little “outlook” in between – on 5th of August our “water Grandtrine” is still active but the “earth Grandtrine” will have shifted to the last degrees of the signs it’s still Venus in Taurus, now Mercury above Spica of Virgo and the Vesta-Saturn conjunction in late Capricorn (puzzle pieces are coming together – fruitful, lucky area) … furthermore the Earth-Sun axis will shift to conjoin Neptune’s nodal axis and Venus’ aphelion-perihelion axis….
The full Moon on the 12th of August shows the GT’s to be dissolved but the inner core of multiple of those is present in form of a “mystic rectangle”/envelope formation involving Orcus (Keeper of Oath), the centaur Nessus, Mercury and opposite Uranus…
On the 18th of August we’ll have two conjunctions: Ceres-Varuna in Cancer and Mercury-Hygiea at the head of the Scorpion…
Back to the new Moon chart - We also just had that Pallas-Uranus exact conjunction in the constellations Aries and Eridanus, which is still active even though Pallas is separating now…
I did explain in the video, that it’s about the own bio-technology, the liberation of it and the understanding of it in order to “re-program” the Self… it’s also about the liberation from what doesn’t serve anymore, is outdated etc.… that can include the collective “mind set”, belief of what’s possible or not, things we may have learned in school, group dynamics and so on…
Well, when is a better time to do that than when Earth and Sun stand in the Capricorn-Cancer axis?? … with the special ability currently given of discernment – also of what got potential and making practical decisions, also on the realms of our memories (close and far)…
Even so materials as hard as stone are moved or carved by water – a steady dripping can form rocks over time (just like fluid wax-drops creating “forms”) - frozen lakes can hold us to make passage or a space for play, yet, it’s a “fragile solidity” …
We’re dealing with the more feminine aspects in these Grand-trines – just as we had more dealt with the masculine powers the last month… yet, it was also about “anchoring” and the foundations and so now we just add the “other layers” … to become coherent… just like the water “needs” to carry the nourishment the soil needs to bring forth the most beautiful of plants and huge trees and so on….
What steady “dripping” do we have to stop or even have to let the powers of streaming, flowing water dissolve the “rocks” we have built in the subconscious… what way will we let our “waters” flow to create new experiences or more “coherent” experiences according our ideals, dreams and inspiration….
A “shift of focus” is sometimes all that is needed – if we understand the “bio technology” and our emotions, we can use that wisdom and don’t need to become “cutting edges” 😉 Doesn’t mean we have to suppress anything but we can learn how to direct and transform that energy…. emotions are also a “cell phone”, just as pain is – a sign that there’s something going on that needs our attention… just as dreams can often “talk in symbols”, so do the emotions (both can also be "crystal clear")….
When we have gained such insights and live more in tune with ourselves, we will automatically “spread” those out – just through our presence – but we may also bring something forth in “form”, create something from this state of coherence and that we will want to share, to disseminate, to advertise etc.… because maybe we have such a huge project in mind, that we can’t do alone…. Maybe we need investors, contributors, support, an outstretched hand, “holding your back” type of energy etc.….
For this we also need the “receptive” feminine energy because otherwise we may miss an opportunity…. And mind you – things not always go the way our “ego” thinks it should – because we’re also talking about what is “necessary” or “needed” and that’s often not what we think it would be … it can be even better than that…. TRUST that all is fine just as it is, yet working towards the "goal"…. Experimenting, practicing, learning, going within, being in cocoon, breeding something out – all of this is not only nice and easy – it can come with set-backs, pain, loss and so on…. but always keep the vision of the pot at the other end of the rainbow if that happens….
When we imagine ourselves as the “Sun”, then we know we’re “breeding out something”, we know that we made big balls of dung and kept it (Scarabaeus) but we also know that we can transform it into a “new life” and when we look straight “ahead” we will see Earth there in Capricorn, offering the space where we can safely anchor, birth…. We become our very own “safe haven” – whenever, wherever….
